Thomas (Tom) is the Chief Executive Officer for BD Consulting and Investigations Inc. BD Consulting and Investigations’ clients include consumer electronics companies, technology companies involved with hardware, software and information development, durable goods and other industries. The services offered include business process analysis, risk analysis, due diligence for a merger or acquisition, intellectual property protection, Brand Protection, and other related services.

Tom has a strong background in risk management through his experiences in the military, law enforcement and as head of BD Consulting and Investigations Inc. Tom’s law enforcement career spanned more than 25 years, including almost eight years with the FBI’s REACT High Technology Crimes Task Force. While at the Task Force, Tom had the opportunity to see firsthand the issues and potential solutions to many of the Business Process, Brand Protection, Intellectual Property, Data Security, and Supply Chain problems faced by the high tech, manufacturing and software industries. Tom has also assisted corporations and law firms understand the issues related to Data Breach planning and response.

Tom’s experiences in the investigation of federal and state high technology crimes, and experiences working with the Secret Service, Department of State, and other law enforcement agencies give him a unique perspective on high tech crime, especially those involving Brand Protection and Data Breaches. Tom’s broad range of experience in managing risk has made him a valuable asset to his clients in the areas of Business Process Analysis, Brand Protection, Due Diligence for a Merger or Acquisition and other unique situations.
