Frank Creighton formerly served as Executive Vice President, Director of Anti-Piracy for the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Mr. Creighton has more than 18 years of experience in education, investigation, and enforcement of intellectual property rights.
Under Mr. Creighton’s supervision, global entertainment companies recovered more than 60 million dollars in actual settlements and judgments, over a 3 year period, directly related to IP violations. Mr. Creighton’s work with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies has resulted in thousands of criminal convictions.
Mr. Creighton has extensive experience in conducting Internet investigations, having created and supervised a world-renown Internet Enforcement Unit, which utilized state of the art electronic tools to meet the dynamic challenges posed by evolving technologies and international law.
Prior to serving as Executive Vice President, Director of Anti-Piracy, Mr. Creighton also engaged in traditional investigative work to include acting as primary undercover agent in a 100 million dollar money laundering case, ultimately resulting in jail sentences of more than 12 years. |
